Assembly Instructions

Watch one. Build one. Then set up the room.

iLLUMITUBES ship flat for efficient delivery and are formed into illuminated cylinders during setup. Watch the video before your event, build one test unit first, and contact us if anything is unclear.

Start here

Watch the complete assembly video before opening a large quantity of packages. If you are setting up many tables, build and approve one representative unit before repeating the process.

What arrives

The centerpiece itself is a custom-printed translucent wrap that ships flat. It is not a rigid preassembled cylinder. Your exact order may also include Tube Lights, remotes, assembly tape, or an optional insert depending on what you purchased.

Printed iLLUMITUBEThe custom graphic that forms the illuminated cylinder.
Assembly tapeUsed to form the printed wrap at the seam. Follow the video for placement and assembly.
Tube Light, if orderedUses 3 AAA batteries. Batteries are not included.
Remote controlsIncluded with tube orders according to quantity. Extra remotes are available separately.
Optional insert, if orderedInserts are not required. Use no more than one insert per tube: either a top Reflector Insert or a bottom Stability Insert, never both. Reflectors are not needed at 13, 16, or 19 inches; optional at 22, 25, or 28 inches; and recommended, but not required, at 36, 42, or 48 inches. Stabilizers are only needed for outdoor events and are not generally required. For questions or unusual installations, ask iLLUMITUBES.

A simple event-day sequence

1

Watch the video

Identify the parts in your order and review the complete assembly before starting a large batch.

2

Build one first

Assemble one representative unit, check its shape, artwork orientation, seam, light placement, and stability.

3

Repeat consistently

Set up the remaining units the same way, orient seams intentionally, and walk the room before guests arrive.

Do not wait until guest arrival to test the first one. If something seems difficult or different from what you expected, call us while there is still time to help.
